An on-line video project has been developed for survivors of abuse to tell their stories. Christopher de Serres and Ophelia de Serres (founders of WomenSpeakOutNow) have set the stage. The goal of the "My Name Is" project is to "create a community... which tell the collective stories." NISSA has chosen dance as her expression of the horror of child abuse, and the hope and healing. NISSA says that it was "emotional to make the video," but was rewarding in the end. She is generously sharing her "performance art" to show how dance is a creative expression of mind, body, and spirit. You can view other videos by survivors of abuse here.
